Once again it is time for HIT FC. The second edition of the successful MMA-Series in Switzerland comes back to Zurich, in the well renowned MAAG Halle, with a stacked Fight Card. On May 28th you will experience a Fight Night like no other. A huge heavyweight showdown for the HIT FC Title awaits and the appearance of Anderson “Braddock” Silva – the feared K.o.-Machine from Brazil.

Heavyweight Title Fight: Denis Stojnic  vs. Christian MPumbu
In the Main Event Denis Stojnic will slug it out once again and this time it is for the title. The heavy-handed fighter from Bosnia last time defeated K-1 Legend Mighty Mo. This time he will face Bellator-Veteran Christian MPumbu. An action-packed heavyweight showdown is guaranteed. The winner will take home the HIT FC Gold.

Stojnic beat not only Mighty Mo, but former UFC-Champion Ricco Rodrigues as well. He is unbeaten in the last 8 fights and wants to extend his winning streak against Christian MPumbu. The experienced fighter from Congo is a veteran of Bellator and M-1 and has seen it all. He can finish fights standing up but also on the ground. This fight can end in many different ways, which makes it so intriguing.

Anderson “Braddock” Silva makes his MMA-Debut
Glory Superstar Anderson “Braddock” Silva will also step into the cage. The Brazilian is known for amazing fights against superstars like Remy Bonjasky, Sergei Kharitonov, Stefan Leko, Hesdy Gerges – who he all defeated. The Kickboxing-Megastar will step into the MMA-World and chose HIT FC for his debut.

He’s been training with Team Nogueira in Brazil of late and wants to make a huge impact with a serious win on May 28. His opponent Ruud Vernooij got his nickname “Destroy” not for fun and is also known to be a powerful striker. We have to see if he can hang with the heavy handed Brazilian.

Lightweight Grand Prix
Another exciting championship is on the line, where a fighter has to win two fights in one night to be crowned the new Lightweight Champion. In the first bracket Brazil will fight Belgium. Joao Luiz Nogueira aka “Andrezinho” will face Lahssan Dihaj. Nogueira has nearly 30 fights on his record and stood his own for many times. He faces a tough fighter from Belgium now, who is ready to go to war. Akulashvili is considered a brawler, while Nogueira can do it all – submissions or TKO’s, his fight record is full of ‘em. “Andrezinho” himself rides a five-fight-winning streak. Can he keep the streak alive?

In the second bracket France battles Switzerland. Anthony Dizy will face Emerik Youmbi. Frenchman Dizy has won all but one of his fights. He is a Bellator MMA-tested fighter who trains at the well renowned MMA Factory in Paris. His fight record shows that he is dangerous on his feet but also on the ground. The same goes for the home town hero. The young up-and-coming prospect out of Lausanne wants to win the HIT FC Grand Prix and make himself known.

Also on the card: Another home town favorite in Andreas Dusek. He will face another Swiss-Fighter Ilia Kotsev. Polish phenom Patryk Nowak will collide with Switzerland’s Reto Muff, while Augusto Frota-protégé Leszek Dolezal faces Dutch striker Brian Hooi.
The ladies will also get it on: France’s Valerie Domergue will step into the cage against Veronica Macedo from Venezuela which is known for knockout-power. Can Domergue overcome or will she get knocked out?

Before the Main Card starts, you can experience Under Card Fights that will be announced soon and also a special Shooto Amateur Ranking Championship. Get ready for a day of action packed fights, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
